Lucky Penny has been submitted to various regional and national film festivals, providing opportunities for it to be recognised beyond our own community.

To date, Lucky Penny has received:
• AWARD NOMINEE and HONOURABLE MENTION at Tees Valley International Film Festival 2025
• Programmed in the 2026 Tyne Valley Film Festival
• OFFICIAL SELECTION at Sunderland Short Film Festivals 2026
• OFFICIAL SELECTION at Women X Film Festival 2026

Each selection has been a wonderful acknowledgement of the work that went into the film and of the talent within our local screen community.
